During her presentation I learned that it takes more work then most of the time it is worth to get a patent. I came to this conclution by the price that it takes to get a patent in the first place plus the need of cash to spred it to all other contries. The only way it is worth to buy a patent is if you are a internationaly known buisness and you will actually need to worry about other people copying or trying to steal your idea.

I thought that the lady was very informative, but what she had presented about patents had no impact on my senior design project.

I thought that it was very interesting that the amount of money required to aquire a patent is so high. Sometimes as much as $20,000 and can take as long as 3 years.
